14 November 2024, in Beijing FTS launched a series of avionics products for eVTOL. The new offerings include an airborne communication system, an integrated onboard display system, and an AI-powered onboard server.
Driven by technological advancements and growing demand for urban air mobility, the low-altitude economy has been rapidly developed. Three types of electric aircraft – eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing), eSTOL (electric short take-off and landing), and eCTOL (electric conventional take-off and landing) – has became one of the hot topics in aviation for their efficient and flexible vertical take-off and landing capabilities in cities, which can help alleviate ground transportation challenges and provide more convenient travel options.
Leveraging its profound avionics R&D gene in commercial aviation industry, FTS has launched avionics products applicable to the communication, display and computing needs of eVTOL/eSTOL/eCTOL vehicles.
Additionally, FTS offers a range of services to the industry, including customized development and joint development of avionics products, integration testing, airworthiness certification, PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) production, and 145 maintenance cooperation.
